Hungarian Heart tomato plants are indeterminate and are very large. They can grow 6 feet high and 4 foot wide. Heavy producers of an outstanding sauce tomato that is low acidic and sweet. This tomato plant in my northern zone which only has 65 days of solid growing needs to grow in a greenhouse in a 10-15 gallon pot. One pot per plant as their root base is huge. Everything about this plant is large, from it's leaves, to its roots, it's height, and it's fruit! Perfect sauce tomato because it has very very very little seeds and is so incredibly meaty! I love growing these tomatoes for its taste and sauce qualities but also for it's looks. I love seeing heart shape tomatoes growing!
