Chives are one of the first plants that come up in the spring. I love harvesting fresh chives in May and finely chop them up over my egg in the morning. Very hard plants and such a great addition to your herb garden. Bees love pollinating the flowers as well. Grows about 18 inches high comes back year after year. Hardy enough for Zone 1, this herb is so dependable!
