Hi! I’m Rita Peterson, the human behind the Larvae.
I didn't start this to be a "Queen"— I started it to solve a problem. I wanted to lower my feed costs for my chickens and quails while boosting their protein intake. When I discovered the power of Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL), I realized I hadn't just found a feed supplement; I’d found a way to turn "waste" into the ultimate farm resource.
Now, my mission is to make the "gross" part of homesteading accessible, fun, and a little bit addicting. I’m here to prove that the most useful things in life often go unnoticed, and that with a little curiosity (and a lot of larvae), anyone can level up their soil and their flock.
