Red tumbler tomato plants are perfect for hanging baskets or for their beauty of hanging over their container. The tomatoes are excellent for fresh eating and we also dehydrate them as well. I love to grow mine in containers (2 gallon size) around my front yard. They look pretty, need no support and hang about 1.5 feet over the container. Sturdy and compact these tumblers are easy to grow. I grow these red tumblers in a pattern with yellow tumblers to create a colorful visual display in my front yard. The plants will grow up-right for about a foot and then begin to tumble. Determined. (65 days from transplant).
