Siberian tomato plants are determined (growing about 3 feet tall) open-pollinated heirloom variety that is great for growing in short growing season areas. The mature plants grow quickly and are compact and sturdy with regular leaf foliage. The red tomatoes grow in clusters of about 20 to 30 extra large cherry tomatoes. This variety can handle high winds, sets fruit in cooler weather, and overall an excellent variety for the north. The fruits mature fast. Delicious flavor. I grow these tomatoes year-after-year because they are a dependable harvest. I love that the fruits are larger than cherry tomatoes but not as big as beefsteak. Just a perfect happy medium! Great for sauces and dehydrating to make tomato chips or powder. Matures in about 68 days.
